At the heart of the LS10 MKII “G” lie precision-wound coils of gold-plated 5N copper with 1.6 ohm internal impedance, wound on a non-magnetic polycarbonate core.
Compared with pure copper, gold-plated 5N copper offers greater stability and a touch of refinement. Compared with silver, it trades a little sheer speed and air for more body and tonal density.
