Pure Silver XLR Cable
Designed for balanced line-level XLR connections between compatible audio components, including DACs, streamers, CD players, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers and power amplifiers.
Manufactured by Xangsane to Le Son specifications, the cable combines pure silver signal conductors, low capacitance construction, dual shielding and gold-plated pure copper XLR connectors.
This is the balanced line-level interconnect in the Le Son cable range. For RCA-equipped systems, choose the Silver RCA Cable instead. For turntable-to-phono-stage connections, choose the RCA Phono Cable or DIN Phono Cable.
Pure Silver Signal Conductors
The signal path uses two 4N silver conductor groups, each composed of fine micro-conductors.
The aim is to support low resistance, stable contact and clean balanced line-level transmission between compatible audio components.
Shielding for Balanced Line-Level Signals
Balanced XLR connections are naturally resistant to some forms of interference, but shielding and cable routing still matter.
This cable uses a dual shielding structure to help protect the signal between components.
1. Aluminium foil and cotton filling form the first shielding and spacing layer.
2. A braided silver-coated copper shield adds a second protective layer around the cable assembly.
Gold-Plated XLR Connectors
The XLR connectors use gold-plated pure copper contacts for durable, stable connection between balanced line-level components.
The cable is supplied as a matched stereo pair.
